When we first heard that Subcool aka “The Weed Nerd” was in the works to make a new stain with a very special and very rare “Blue City Diesel” genetic from Heroes Of The Farm, we knew it was going to be our first pick for the upcoming outdoor season 2016.
Most phenotypes will have a middle-of-the-road growth structure when it comes to height and when it comes to bud structure you will be impressed to say the least. This strain contains heavy, dense, frosty white flowers, backed with tons of color variations, containing deep purples to light pinks, making great bag appeal.
Named Dawg Star, by T.H. Seeds of Amsterdam, who created this stunning 4-way mostly indica hybrid which promises such a super indica party. To breed their latest variety, Dawg Star, they married the famous Chemdog strain (OG Kush x Sour Diesel) to their own Dark Star (Purple Kush x Mazar I Sharif).
The strain name, “Industrial Plant“, may make some people think of industrial hemp (i.e. fiber hemp with a very low THC content) but this is far from it! This highly successful variety from Spanish seed company Dinafem is based on drug cannabis strains which are very rich in THC, partly even on a super-famous one: Northern Lights.
Winner of 11 Emerald Cup Awards, Aficionado Estates has been crafting elite avant-garde cannabis for over 20 years. While in high demand and frequently sold-out, Aficionado is the only seed company to prepare and release their seeds only once a year, since every batch is produced from the full-term outdoor growing season of each year.
I started growing for myself in 2010. I deal with some chronic pain issues from about 25 years of riding a skateboard and Cannabis provided me a safe alternative to deal with the pain. I’ve always been a do-it-yourself kind of person as well as a creative person my whole life, so it’s in my nature to create things – it’s kind of what I do. These feelings of wanting to create something for the cannabis world hit me in late 2012
Dutch Passion was formally established in 1987, but the first genetics were collected in the 1970’s when Henk van Dalen was a Biology Student at Amsterdam University. In those days cannabis was being imported into Amsterdam from all over the world.
